Walking
in love is what Swami ji is to
me. A love as pure as that of a child and as holy
as that of a divine being. When I think of all the
turmoil of worldly life, all that which blinds our
eyes, deafens our ears and distracts our mind and
then think of Swamiji then I at once see an oasis
of peace and love. When I first met Swamiji we
shared a normal exchange of thoughts and yet I
could sense his subtle and vibrant aura. I could
feel the radiance of a being who has surrendered
to God completely. Swamiji often speaks about his
immense gratitude towards "his God" as he puts it.
Whenever I hear it I can feel his unconditional
love for "his God" and this feeling has also been
the source of a great teaching to me: It is when
we really surrender to our God within, that our
problems are solved, our illnesses healed and our
hearts filled with divine love. Our God takes care
of us in every way, leads us to the places where
we are meant to be, introduces us to the right
people, makes us move beyond our own limitations,
makes us walk in love... I believe it is "his
God's" compassion, love and wisdom that Swamiji
constantly feels ever since he surrendered to Him.
But I also believe that Swamiji was born a saint
and therefore longed to be with his God. When
Swamiji entered his cave he went in with utmost
faith in his God and performed his sadhana with
such pure devotion, that he could surrender and
unfold his love naturally. I believe that when
Swamiji received his God's eternal darshan
everything in his life became a perfect image of
his God's compassion, love and wisdom. Therefore
all that Swamiji does is not just for himself, but
for the sake of others, for the sake of his God.
As the rays of the sun fall on the water and make
it shine like precious gems, so also divine love
shines on those who have surrendered to God. Then
all our moves are walking in love.... Jaisiyaram,
