Very
Dear Swamiji "The whole world is pulsing with the
power of God...wave after wave of bliss. My heart is
like the shore, and the Ocean of Infinite Love is
breaking on the shores of my heart" This is adapted
from the divine words of Paramahansa Yogananda on my
engagement calendar for this week and they are so
appropriate for the way I am feeling since you came
into my life. I have followed all your talks this
week and today at the Hindu Temple I finally got it!
You rounded off the talks on Love/God perfectly and
for me a deep peace and joy has come. It seems that
something opened and cleared in me with your healing
touch and I was emptied of past accumulations and
then in your satsang the following evening filled me
up with divine love of the Lord. This is quite
mind-blowing! I am struggling to put in words how I
feel but it is amazing to say the least. Just after
the healing session I felt very energised, like I
had been pumped full of God’s love. My body was
feeling vibrant and alive, tingling with the flow of
energy. Nothing else seems to matter but surrender
to God, his love is all that there is…During the
session I felt moved by the experience. At a certain
point a knowledge came to me, a deep knowing that my
God is always with me. I can always connect, I don’t
need anything external to do this. My heart centre
feels huge and full of divine bliss, divine love. A
strength of emotion came into my being and I knew,
without a doubt, that I have the strength to do
whatever is asked of me by my Lord, to believe in
myself and to let go of ego, selfishness and
expectation. Swamiji you ARE love. This reminds me
of a text about us being aware human beings, not
asleep. And it says, "if you are aware you will
never fall in love, because as an awake being you
can never fall. You will be rising in love. People
who rise in love are mature. Then love becomes not a
relationship but it becomes a state of your being.
Whosoever comes near you, you share with them.
Whatsoever is happening, you give your love to it.
You touch a rock and you touch as if you are
touching your beloved's body. You look at the tree
and you look as if you are looking at your beloved's
face. It becomes your state of being. Not that you
are in love, you ARE love. This is rising and not
falling. Love is beautiful when you rise through it.
This kind of love will give freedom, it will give
wings and it will open the vast skies. …..” You have
really made a profound impact on my life in a short
space of time and I will miss being in your divine
presence, in the presence of the innocence of a
child yet the ancient wisdom of centuries. However,
I know we will meet again and so will close with the
following from the autobiography of Rumi. His
teacher gives reflection on three things a spiritual
aspirant needs. “Let the tongue speak the holy name,
let the heart be thankful for Gods presence, and let
the body be patient.” Rising in Love Jes , Canberra
