The weather is very funny in
the last days. Nearly each evening
it is stormy which is not normal in this
time. It starts with a strong wind that carries much
dust and sand from the streets. After some time it
starts raining and thunder and lightening contribute
to a real thunderstorm. It is not good at all for
the farmers who have the corn on the field. In this
time they normally do their harvest but this they
can't do this when everything is wet.
They hope they can save the corn from going bad.
In the
last days I was talking about religion and fear. I
already expressed my opinion that I do not like it
when religion is creating fear in the mind of
people. Actually it is not the religion that is
doing this. No religion is made for this I think. It
is those who feel they have to bring their religion
to others and do it by the means of fear. The
representatives of the religion are spreading fear.
And instead of succeeding in their aim to have more
people believe in their belief more and more people
turn away. Nowadays so many young people turn away
from religion. In the Bhagawat Gita, Krishna says in
one place: "Leave all the religions
and come to me, devote to me, surrender to me and I
will liberate you from the guilt of your
sins." There have been hundreds of
interpretations of the Bhagawat Gita which are
giving different meanings to this phrase. I want to
tell you how I understand it. For me, Krishna is
Love, Love is God. If you devote to Love, if you
leave all religions and just surrender yourself to
the love you will be free of the feelings of sin and
guilt. The love will liberate you. Choose this path
and you will be free from fear.
