Organizing Ability - and lots of Practice

Purnendu Goswami, Swami Balendu's younger brother is the director of the Ashram.While Swami Ji and Yashendu are on their travels and also if they are at home, the Ashram management is in Purnendu's hands.

Having grown up as the second eldest son in a family of spiritual preachers, he soon learned taking care of the details that are needed for making an event or simply the meeting of many people in one place a success. While learning in the ancient scriptures like his older brother, he also enjoyed helping in the organization of speeches, lectures, rituals and celebrations. This is how Purnendu today has the skills of managing all activities at the Ashram.

Happiness in Helping Others

As director of the Ashram in India Purnendu takes care of the harmonious community by coordinating workers, cooks, Sanskrit students, volunteers, retreat participants, family and guests as well as teachers and school children.

Visitors can approach him if they have special requirements, would like to have advice or help on their journeys through India or wish to donate to charity projects. He also is the contact person for yoga teachers and other retreat leaders who would like to use the Ashram as a spiritual retreat center for yoga workshops, weekend retreats or also longer spiritual retreats.
