Visit the unique temples of Vrindavan and discover an ancient music tradition. A seminar with yoga and sound therapy in the loving atmosphere of the Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan Ashram with Yashendu Goswami and Thomas Meisenheimer. Yashendu Goswami will show you selected and easy Hatha Yoga exercises for your body and breathing system which free the body from tensions, clean the respiratory passages and keep the vocal chords smooth. This helps the whole body to resonate so that your voice can develop freely. Nada Yoga focuses on feeling the resonating spaces in your body, exploring sounds in a playful way and observing the vibration of sound in your body. In guided sound meditations (with Sitar and Rudra Vina) Thomas Meisenheimer will give you an introduction to the healing powers of Indian music. Chanting of Kirtans and working with sounds will softly make you aware of new resonating spaces and you will get to know the effect of the intervals in Indian music. In the silence after the sound you will approach the aim of Nada Yoga: to merge outer sounds with inner sounds. Your aural sense will be trained by listening to the sounds of nature at the holy river Yamuna or in the evening at music sessions in the temples of Vrindavan. Before or after this seminar you can ask the Ashram to organize your tour to the surrounding sights. Prize for the seminar: 7 days – 700 Euro / 1030 Dollar inclusive This retreat will be held in English. The Great HimalayasThe great Himalayas are known as the Heart of the Earth and are often called the Crown of the Earth. The seven highest mountains of the world,
including the Mount Everest, are in the Himalayas. The Himalayas have always been a place for meditation and spiritual practice. Since the beginning of mankind people are attracted by the wonderful peace that invites to a journey not only through the mountains but into the own heart and mind. As a frequent traveller of the Himalayas Yashendu Goswami says in his words “Just being in Himalayan nature is a great experience of Spiritual Power” Almost every scripture from India is mentioning the Himalayas’ great spiritual power. Not only has Lord Ram spent several years of his life in Himalaya but the word goes that Jesus, too, spent a significant part of his life in the magnificent energy of these mountains. The name Himalaya has its origin in the Sanskrit words “Him” and “Alaya”. “Him” means snow and “Alaya” means house. The Himalaya is thus the “house of snow”. There are hundreds of interesting places like lakes, valleys, parks and waterfalls that can be visited. The Himalaya is rich in natural treasures such as herbs, gemstones and salt. On occasion Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan organizes spiritual trips to the heart of the earth. Everybody is invited to experience the beauty of the Himalaya Mountains. If you would like us to organize a journey for you and your group please write to support@jaisiyaram.com
