Meditation Retreat in India |
|||||||||||||||||
Really relax on your holiday in India by combining your stay at our Ashram with guided meditations. Two sessions of meditation every day will give you the experience of an inner peace which you may have never felt before. The meditation classes are separated in one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. Meditation is known to help people get out of depression, prevent and cure burnout syndrome, to improve concentration and to keep a stable situation of the mind, balanced and calm. Swami Ji and Yashendu will guide you to the knowledge of how to leave stress and tension behind, how to clear your mind of any negativity and to fill your whole being with energy and love. Morning MeditationYou will start your mornings at the Ashram with a peaceful meditation. Through breathing meditations, mantra meditations and silent meditations you charge your batteries for the day ahead. You learn meditation techniques that fill you with energy to stay in your equilibrium and give you a joyful outlook on whatever will come, not only at the Ashram in India but also when you return to your every day’s routine. You learn how to meditate your pressure away and remain calm and centered in a hectic world. These meditation sessions in the morning show you the best way to start the day. Evening MeditationThe evening meditations will show you different meditation techniques to help you shake off all the sorrow, burden and stress of the day. Dynamic and dancing meditations, meditating with music and walking meditations will help you to settle your mind from whatever was stirring in it. You thus learn how to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Your mind will calm down, your body gets rid of tension and your soul rejoices again in happiness. Meditation TechniquesPeople who have never meditated before often ask ‘What is meditation?’ and after explaining them all the benefits of meditation, there is usually another question that follows, the question of how to do meditation. During your meditation retreat you will get to know a variety of different meditation techniques. According to the previous experiences with meditation of the group, you will start with meditation for beginners, in order to get to know the basics of meditation. With a longer period of time you will proceed and get to know more and more meditation techniques that help you go in a state of deep meditation in different ways:
Mantra MeditationMantra meditation is the continuous repetition of Mantras, in a speaking or singing way or even just soundless pronunciation. Mantras are ancient prayers that, through their use as such and the devotion of the person who is pronouncing them, produce a powerful energy for the speaker. Any kind of result, be it calmness and peace of mind or concentration and focusing power, can be achieved. Chakra MeditationThe seven chakras are the energy centers of the body, connected to our different body parts, feelings and actions. In chakra meditations you get to know the qualities of each chakra, learn how to stimulate them and you experience the particular feeling that the energy of every chakra gives you. Some of the benefits of chakra meditation are to feel grounded, free to express your feelings, full of self-esteem and love. Dynamic/Dancing MeditationMeditation is not only – against common belief – sitting in silence, trying to empty the mind. For many people and in certain situations, it is much easier to reach a state of meditation through dancing and moving the body freely. With especially designed music, an immediate effect can be noticed. Feel how all tension of the day is just shaken off through dance. Breathing MeditationOne of the most popular, most known and for many people most effective ways to go in deep meditation is becoming aware of your own breathing. It calms the mind quickly to concentrate on your own breathing, feel how the body fills with energy with inhalation and how all negative emotions and energies leave the body with exhalation. It is a cleansing meditation with an incredibly refreshing effect. Prem MeditationYashendu frequently guides groups of meditators into this particular meditation which was designed by him. It is a love meditation which leads you to the core of your heart. It is your most inner part, your love, and you learn to feel it and led it spread in your whole system, so that you are now able to give and receive love freely. This meditation technique teaches you to connect to the love inside you. Walking MeditationEspecially for those who have difficulties going into deep meditation when sitting in silence and just concentrating on their thoughts, a walking meditation can be an effective and useful meditation technique. The simple physical movement and concentration only on your steps helps you empty your mind and get relief of any negative feelings. Meditation PlacesSwami Balendu and Yashendu invite you to meditate with them at their Ashram. Your meditations will take place at different locations which all have their special charm. The most used meditation place, due to its special vibration, is however the cave where Swami Ji has spent three years and 108 days in Mantra meditation, completely isolated from the outer world. After Swami Ji’s own retreat for meditation, the meditation room of the cave has an energy that helps you to quickly go in deep meditation. In this cave you will spend several hours, feeling and creating the energy yourself.
