This wonderful masterpiece of architecture was completed around 1648. It is a memory of love that Mogul Shahjahan made for his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal. Recently this World Heritage Site has been declared one of the new seven world wonders. The most expensive gift that was ever given combines Greek, Persian and Indian architecture. It is a jewel made of white marble with detailed adornment that fascinates every visitor. Especially at the time of sunrise or sunset Taj Mahal is bathing in the golden light and shining its beauty far over the heads of the hundreds of visitors. Its special beauty is also highlighted if you see it in the light of the full moon which is now again possible by longer opening hours. Its outstanding beauty will remain in your memory forever.
