What is the proof that there is a soul and where in the body does it live?

Actually I just had a talk to a student, who wanted to write about soundtherapy, and I told her that it is like food for the soul. Yes not everybody believes that there is a soul. Than I asked her, from where your heart gets the power for beating and pulsating? Scientists say that it is a biochemical process, but when you ask them from where this energy comes to give power to this process, than they say, oh till now we dont have any answer!

Even now some scientist say, that all is vibration, that sounds nearly like the indian philosophy of spanda. I think the scientists will come more and more near to what is called Brahman, the supreme.

For me it was also for some time a question, where the soul has it´s place. Like in Upanishad it is always said that it has its place in the heart - hridayam.............

But maybe it is only a concentration point to be more aware about the soul, cause also some other say that it has its place in the third eye. So what is true?
It was a nice example what you gave in diary about it.

I feel that we are not different souls, for me there is only one energy. So like the waves and the ocean. Imagine it would be funny, if one wave will say to the other wave, see I´m special, I have a nothing to do with you.
If there is only one ocean, how could some people say, oh I have my God, you have your God. My God is different!

I feel the soul is like a little flame from the big fire of the universe.
Just we came in body and have forgotten to see the Supreme in everything. Just like the wave, who has forgotten, that she is always connected with the ocean.

I think also that the soul is free of physical limits, but how I could say that I´m not the body, or that the creation is illusion? If everything is connected with the supreme energy, than also the body and the creation is part of this energy. Of course body is not eternal, but if all is vibration, than the body comes out of this vibration. How could a wave say that she is not the ocean? It just arise for some time and than comes back to the ocean.
So why we always forget our true nature?
I´m tired from this game!

What do you think about it?

Really, I like this philosophical topics! Please keep on!

Lots of love
