We had another great day. The news is this: Andrea from Germany, Suann from the US and Angie from Canada arrived some time ago and were supposed to leave soon but they decided to stay longer and extended their tickets. It is wonderful! They enjoy their time so much here.
‘There is never a dull moment and the day is so full of wonderful things. We are meditating in the garden in the afternoon and laughing so hard during dinner that our bellies hurt.’ You wake up in the morning and the Sanskrit class is going on, we get a chai, a tea, and then we have breakfast. The children come and then you can watch the monkeys jump through the neighbour’s gardens. ‘The Ashram never seizes to surprise me. It is not at all what I expected.’ ‘I don’t ever want to leave again.’
These and more things they said and it makes me happy to see them happy. And of course to have them here. The energy at the Ashram and the love here is like this that it touches the heart. It is the love which gives you the feeling of being at home, being at a place where you can just be yourself.

Last night I was walking back and forth on the path in front of the ashram in the moonlight. The moon was almost full and was bright enough to light the path. The sky had a hue of pink and the air was warm and cozy. The sounds of nature surrounded me and I could smell the beautiful trees and plants around me. I was thinking... this is something everyone should experience!

Devotion to the wrong person or cause can be harmful!
SourceWouldn't it be best if we all could just be humans and not let religious leaders earn a lot of money through their manipulation.
SourceReligion allows you to use your intelligence but only in a very limited way. You can never question the religion itself.
SourceBeing spiritual cannot mean denying your sexuality and becoming celibate. Accept your sexuality in a spiritual way. Sexuality, driven by love, can be only spiritual, nothing else. God created us how we are and with sexuality being a part of us. Do not neglect that.
SourceLet your children grow up without learning violence in video games. Teach them instead to play with each other, not against each other. Show them that a child of another nation and maybe with another language is just as valuable as they are themselves.
SourceReligion has always worked like a dictatorship, exploiting people, using fear to make them accept the rules without asking. The dictator makes the rules and you have no way to change them.
SourceDon’t love with the condition that the other one acts the way you wish.
SourceReligious scriptures are only pieces of literature that have been noted down by people in the past and should not have any relevance or importance today. Read them word by word and you will get to know their crazy and cruel content.
SourceSometimes the outcome is simply not in our control, so stop thinking about what could have happened if you had taken another decision.
SourcePeople lose their happiness in the effort of keeping others happy although it is impossible to keep everybody happy. Everybody has their own ego and that will clash with each other, no matter what you do. Make yourself happy first.
SourceI am not a Guru, Master or a Teacher. Just trying to be a good student in the school of life.
SourceWhy do religions make people afraid? If the rules that they put up made sense, they wouldn't need to make others afraid, others would understand it on their own and follow them!
SourceIn western culture sharing is not important. People divide and own. This is mine and that is yours. This is my car; that is your house. It is the ego of owning something. There is too much individuality. Share with others!
SourceOur negativity lives on our back. It is difficult for us to see but we need to explore it. We can easily see the back of another person. Work on seeing and reducing your own negativity.
SourceReligion is a firm and strict structure whereas spirituality is soft and flowing. Religion presses into clear and edgy shapes whereas spirituality makes round and soft. Religion comes from the mind and spirituality from the heart.
SourceGurus should look for students, not for followers and disciples!
SourceUnconditional trust and unconditional respect are the fertile earth on which love grows and gets strong. Doubts destroy this base. If there are doubts, there is no trust and love cannot grow.
SourceThe base for strengthening an emotional connection is physical closeness. For any close emotional relation you need to be close physically.
SourceIf nobody can know anyway what will happen on the next day, why should we worry about it? There will never be an answer! We will see what will happen and we will deal with whatever comes. The past is past and tomorrow will come. Live in the presence, today, now!
SourceReligion often has the effect of poison: it kills people, it separates them, it creates hate among them. Human is made by god and religion is made by man. God did not create people with different religions, he made us all the same.
