Yesterday my friend Govind was here. I have written about him and our friendship from time to time. We all were sitting and talking. He said that he was disappointed by so-called religious leaders as they don’t really believe in their religion but do exactly the opposite.
He said ‘It is very dangerous. This is not dharma, adharma came in the form of dharma. The wolf came dressed as a goat.’ The word dharma is used for religion and generally means that what is right for you, what you are following and what you accepted in your life. Adharma means the opposite. If a wolf comes or if a goat comes, that is okay, but now the wolf is coming and looks like a goat.
I said him ‘Govind, I am anyway out of any frame like a religion. And sometimes I feel that religion is like poison.’ And it is true, you look at these people who gather others around themselves with the promise of religion, something which guides them. And then they make up their own ‘religion’ by interpreting some scripture in their own way and creating rules. It steals the freedom of the mind. You need to know yourself what is right for you and everybody has different ideas of what is good or bad, right or wrong.

If you see a friend being pulled into a sect or a group that has bad practices, tell him what you think about it but in the end you have to let him believe what he wants to believe.

SourceI don’t believe religion was previously good and pure. On the contrary, I believe it was made with the purpose to manipulate and control people. When religion was created, people were afraid of things they could not understand. Religious people gave explanations and could thus control them, taking their fear like a leash. That is not pure, that is not good!

SourceI don’t like rules but I like discipline. It makes your will power strong.
SourceBreaking with someone causes pain, hurts and makes people feel bad. If there is any way to avoid it, please do.
SourceYou share everything with everybody and everybody shares everything with you. Just out of love. In this case the source is love, not ego. When you want to share your happiness with others and want to share other peoples’ pain, sharing is a great and positive thing.
SourceWe are destroying this world in our egoism and nature shows us exactly that. We need to think of the generations that come after us and not leave them a big mess just because we felt too comfortable and were too lazy to clean up and do something different.
SourceThere are places in this world where women are sold because religion says they are just like objects that a man possesses. Is religion really something you want to believe in?
SourceSex is not only physical. It is more about feelings than about the physical aspect. With money you can hire a body but not feelings and surely not love.
