This is a wonderful time. I don’t know how to describe it but since yesterday I have said many times to everybody: ‘fun, fun and fun!’ I never enjoyed Christmas in this way before. We had so much fun with so many people.
I already wrote the report of the morning program yesterday and in the evening there were only the Ashram family, the school teachers, the boys and the staff of the Ashram, our friends from Switzerland Christina and Roland and my old friends Manish and Sunil with whom I have been to school. Manish came with his wife and son and of course Kanu, Suraj and Krishna were there to celebrate, too.
Altogether we were about 50 people. Roland and Christina sang Christmas songs and Ramona told the Christmas story in Hindi for the boys in the Ashram who didn’t know it yet. We also played a game running around chairs. Babbaji, who looked like Santa Claus in a red dress and a hat, started distributing presents to everybody. It was wonderful to see the joy in the faces when a present was opened. Everybody was happy with his gift, there were many different things, something different for everyone.
When the presents were unpacked we started a dance party and enjoyed the time together a little bit more before going to bed. This morning everybody had a Christmas fun hangover. You can see how we celebrated in the pictures in our photo gallery.

SourceIn Hinduism there is a word ‘Kanya Dan’, the donation of a girl from father to husband. Like a thing that can be passed on. In a wedding this ‘Kanya Dan’ is however the most important part of the marriage ceremony - and this is how religion degrades women.
SourceWhat does it mean if you say ‘I am not 100% vegetarian’, ‘I eat meat only when I go out’, or ‘I only eat fish’? It means you are not a vegetarian at all. You feel guilty about it. You are only eating, not killing, but someone killed for you.
