Yesterday I was talking about differences in spirituality from India and the west. In the evening we were talking about spirituality and my friend Angie from Canada said that people in the west are even afraid of spirituality. It is not normally possible to talk about god. When they hear this word ‘God’ they do not want to talk anymore. She told that when she talked with colleagues or other people about spirituality she used the words ‘universe’ or ‘source’. They want to have this distance from the word God.
Maybe this was caused by fear which was created by religion. This is the normal tendency there and people who are spiritual, who are conscious about our soul, energy, vegetarianism and God, build a group of a minority. Even if someone is vegetarian he doesn’t belong to the majority of people anymore but to a small group.
I also meet people who were disappointed by one religion but who feel in their soul that they are attracted by other religions. They do not want to have anything to do with the religion which they grew up with and turn to another one. But then again very often the same kind of thing starts. They are either living in a different kind of fear, in another form, or they get another disappointment after some time.
I do not want to criticize any specific religion and I do not want to promote or advertise any specific religion because these patterns and conditions exist in every religion in a more or less evident way. This is how I enjoy being out of all religions and I feel happy accepting the religion of love in my life.

It is equally hard to talk about not believing in God amongst religious groups. There is typically little room on either side for discussions if someone is perceived as different. This is common human discomfort amplified by years of theory and conditioning. When I believed in God I was very uncomfortable to be in the presence of someone who didn't believe. Now that I don't believe I am angered to be in the presence of those who believe the things that I used to. It is very unenlightened and close-minded of me, and I can say it is an emotional and unenlightened response.

Maybe this time, which we are experiencing now, will later be called ‘Digital Bhakti Kal’, a time of devotion through digital media. Applications and programs will be interactive scriptures that judge your spiritual progress. There will be an option to pay some money and get access to higher levels and ranks straight away. It will be expensive but those who have the money can get online enlightenment from one second to the other simply via credit card.

SourceIt is a problem that religion tells in scriptures and culture shows practically that girls should be treated differently than boys. Girls are not as wanted as boys, you get congratulations when you gave birth to a boy while you get looks and words of pity when it is a girl.
SourceIt is the ego of believing that you are perfect which kills all your happiness in what you do.
SourceIt is nothing new that this society is focused on money. It is nothing new that the masses don’t care about the individual. But what about you? Why are you playing along?

SourceScriptures were written by normal men. It was their experience but your experience can be very different. With time everything changes. If your experience is different than from what the Bible or the Gita tells you, why don’t you believe in yourself? Why don’t you trust your experience?
SourceAfter accidents some people believe it happened due to their sins and bad Karma but God saved them. Well, he saved your life but you do have broken bones. If this guy could keep you from dying, why could he not save your bones from being crushed? Was he too busy? Did he think it would look unrealistic that you have an accident and don’t even break something? Or did he really think ‘Man, you got some bad Karma over there! Not bad enough for dying but at least a bone fracture!’
SourceTake care to be in harmony with nature. Enjoy nature and be thankful for it. With thankfulness the respect for nature will become your basic attitude and then you will never have the idea to leave your garbage somewhere in a forest or pollute a river. Being in harmony with nature can make you happy.
SourceSoul is energy, the life in someone, our basic element, which moves us and keeps us alive. When there is no love in a relationship, we say it is dead. When there is no business in a company we say it is dead. Whenever the basic element of something is gone, we call it dead. When our basic element is gone, we are dead. And our soul is our basic element.
SourceThe karma philosophy makes it easy to escape responsibility!
SourceSometimes ego and anger can bring a darkness to your heart with which you do not even care about the happiness of your children although you love them. This love is not pure but driven by ego.
SourceTrust your feelings and listen to your heart. It will help you take decisions and be stable in your decisions.
