I said yesterday that I hope people don’t get disappointed by the fact that I don’t want to be a Guru anymore. I have lived this life and yesterday in the Darshan I told the people about it. But still, although I write it on my website, in all our brochures, in my diary and also say it in programs, there are still people who like to see me as a guru. They see the website but don’t read it. And they want to treat me as their guru even though I don’t want to have followers.
I think this will always happen because people want to follow someone. They are looking for guidance. I don’t want to blame anybody for it because it is just some confidence and self-respect missing inside them. But I would like to ask them to open their eyes, see what I am talking about and realize that everybody is his own wonderful being, has a great soul and is perfect as he is. Please don’t try to make me your master. You don’t need a guru or master to be complete and to live your life. If you are looking for guidance, go inside yourself, there you will find everything. Answers may be hidden behind all confusing thoughts and emotions but they are there, right in your heart.

The main factors for a good relationship are that you are physically close and devoted without any ego. If this devotion is not there, they will be far from each other even if they are physically close, sleeping and living in the same room. Then they cannot understand each other and in these cases relationships sometimes break even after a very long time.
SourceLove cannot grow if you don’t have closeness. Sometimes it is very hard to get close to someone. Sometimes there is physical closeness but no closeness of the heart, sometimes the mind is close but nothing else. You cannot establish a strong relationship if you don’t accept full closeness.
SourceDon’t seek God in religious icons or figures. God is love and lives in our heart. If you, in a prayer or mantra, mention the name Jesus, Ram or also Hanuman, it doesn’t mean that you specify a religion you are praying to. You have God in your heart, no matter which name you say with your tongue.
SourceWe are mostly happy when we take but true happiness is when you enjoy giving.
SourceYou need to learn to be happy and satisfied. You should be healthy and feel happy and good with your body.
SourceThere is a thin line in between healthy pride and too much ego. Everybody needs some ego and everybody should be proud of himself. Without ego or pride you cannot survive. You cannot exist without ego because you need your ego to identify yourself.
SourceI get mails asking if I can send energy to improve their chakras and how much my fees would be? They used to pay and get energy from other Swamis or some Gurus. I want to make clear that I don't believe energy can be sold or bought and sent in this way for money. Be careful with this kind of charlatans!
SourceSometimes religion is like poison. Look at these people who gather others around themselves, making up their own ‘religion’ by interpreting some scripture in their own way and create rules. It steals the freedom of the mind. You need to know yourself what is right for you and everybody has different ideas of what is good or bad, right or wrong.
SourceIf you read a superstitious scripture often enough, you start believing it is true. Coincidences confirm it but you have to follow your doubt!

SourceDoctors in India often have signs against evil energies at the main entrance door of their practices. In hospitals there are signs saying ‘We serve, he cures’. Many doctors don’t work on Thursdays, as they believe it is a bad day for people to go to the doctor – they might have to come back, because actions on Thursdays always are repeated. Superstitious people even make medicine a question of superstition!
SourceBreaking with someone causes pain, hurts and makes people feel bad. If there is any way to avoid it, please do.
SourceA successful relationship comes from devotion, not from ego and expectations. Leave your expectations behind and accept and respect the other one. In order to accept, respect and love in a relationship, you definitely need to accept, respect and love yourself.
SourceDo you think of meditation as a competition? Whoever can sit in meditation the longest is the winner! That person is closer to enlightenment than all others or has even already reached enlightenment! Those who cannot sit still for even half an hour are beginners, losers, materialists and very non-spiritual people!

Stop trying to be someone who you are not or different and better than others, just be yourself! You are not greater or worse, higher or lower than anybody else. God made you perfectly fine, just as you are.
SourceDon't play for winning but for having fun. The aim is not being better and if you lose, there is no reason to be sad. This is the game. Somebody will lose, somebody will win. A game is there for enjoying. Winning and losing is part of the fun.
