Today was Darshan and before we started Ramona asked me: “What do you like more, when there are many new people or when everybody has already been to a Darshan before?” I replied that it didn’t really matter, I enjoy it anyway. And it is true, I enjoy it in any way but today there was a group of people who all have participated in this meditation before and I found it very nice.
After the meditation I told about this conversation with Ramona and I said to the group: “Today I enjoyed it very much. Now I would like to change my answer a little bit. It is very good if the whole group has experienced this meditation before. I do not have to talk much. With new people I need to explain the concept of Darshan and bring their consciousness into that state in which they can open their heart more. But when everybody knows what they can expect, everybody is ready and can directly enter into the state of consciousness in which there is no ego and no hesitation to express emotions and feelings.”
I could see and feel how everybody was able to open the heart and to express what is deep inside. So it is wonderful to have a meditation with people who have been there before but it is also always great to explain the idea of Darshan to new people which often makes them come again.
After the meditation our friend Uli stayed for dinner and we had a nice evening with ice cream even though it is so cold outside.

I am confused about meditation. I have tried before without guidance trying to free my mind and sit quietly and, almost let it travel somewhere... Why are holy religious scriptures full of violence and blood?
SourceFind your meaning of life and be happy. That is what I call spirituality.
SourceHonour is something related to your dignity, to a straight and honest way of living and not related only to your sexuality. Why would a woman be dishonoured if she had sex with the one she loves even if they are not married?
SourceMost people think they don’t deserve to be happy.
SourceSometimes religion is like poison. Look at these people who gather others around themselves, making up their own ‘religion’ by interpreting some scripture in their own way and create rules. It steals the freedom of the mind. You need to know yourself what is right for you and everybody has different ideas of what is good or bad, right or wrong.
SourceI cannot understand how anybody or any religion can see woman as second-rate. A woman brings you to this earth, how can she be less worth? Without her, how could you exist?
SourceSome people who believe in reincarnation neglect their own responsibilities. There is always a very convenient excuse: that happens because of my past life!
SourceSuperstitious people don’t trust in themselves or their abilities and decide that it was not their work or talent that brought them money and success but some mysterious force. Obviously this makes them insecure, as they never know when their luck could leave them - so they have to keep on following superstition, trying to remain successful!
SourceThe words ‘followers’, ‘disciples’ or ‘devotees’ give much room for abuse of the relationship to a guru.
SourceI don’t like the word ‘follower’ or ‘disciple’. Guru simply means teacher, so if you have the need for a teacher, a guru, why don’t you call yourself student? Rather than being a follower who follows blindly like a sheep, you should be a student, eager to learn more, enthusiastic for getting more knowledge and experience.
SourceI won’t have a problem with your god if he makes clear that poverty, hunger, war and rape is not happening by his wish.
SourceWhen you change yourself, things start changing around you. It works!

SourceForgive and leave your anger behind. Remember that this is not an act of grace towards the other person but something that you are doing for yourself, too! Be in love, that makes it easier!
SourceYou can trust people only when you know them and you can only get to know them if they show what they feel. So make a start and show what you feel.
SourceCriminals and people who do wrong live in fear of the consequences of their actions. Religion gives them a good way to find forgiveness. You only need to go to the temple regularly, tell a priest about what you have on your mind, pay some money, say some prayers and you are forgiven. Then you can go out to do the next crime.

SourceReligion welcomes people with an option to only be partly religious. Take as much of it as you want: 20%, 40% or 60%. Hardly anybody will go with 100% but religion does not care, it wants to have you in any way. It is like sugar-coated poison, a drug that promises you a lot and you, carefully, take a bit and don’t notice how you are drawn into it even more.
SourceThere are many funny different offers in which people sell ways to get internal peace, to reach enlightenment or to get any funny kind of soul reconnection. People want the outer appearance of an inner solution to be shiny and glamorous, something special and new. But how can you get peace while being bombarded with offers?
SourceGod lives in the heart and can come wherever you want. Temples and religious buildings are the centers of the business of religion where they see religious people as cows and milk them for money and donations, even by selling tickets. The more money you have, the quicker you can see God and the more blessings you get.
