It was a really great party yesterday. We had a great dinner with chickpeas, sweet Rice and potato pancakes. After that Yashendu presented the fruit cake that he had baked in the afternoon and it was just wonderful. And then Ramona opened the big surprise. In the afternoon, while she was shopping, we had been sitting with 20 people picking petals off several kilos of roses and then wrapped them and hung it outside in the yard over the ‘dance floor’. Together she and I pulled on a string and it rained flowers onto us and the floor which was the inauguration of the dance floor. It was a great feeling to have the flowers under the bare feet for dancing! We were dancing for a long time under the open sky.
Everybody enjoyed and the little boys also got crazy in dancing. I was watching Suraj and saw how he got down on one knee, put his fists up into the air and sung along the song. He is three years old, of course he did not learn anywhere to dance, it was just dance fully out of the heart, just joy. I also danced but then unfortunately had to stop because I was just full of this wonderful food. We had a great celebration and the main reason why we all had so much fun was because nobody had to show anything off to others, everybody could just enjoy freely. Even my grandmother danced a bit with us!
