A friend wrote down her thoughts about coming out of the role of the victim and published them as an article on our website. It is in French but Ramona translated it to me and in one line she is asking: Is it a curse to be fragile or is it a quality to be sensitive? I think this is an appropriate question in this society and in the time that we are living in.
I also feel many times that sensitivity is not appreciated. But of course I think sensitivity is a jewel of human. Imagine if there was no sensitivity, if the heart was like a stone, then a person is not human but like a stone. I also understand what she means when she says this sensitivity makes you fragile. There is a big risk of getting hurt and injured because you are sensitive. Maybe that is why some people see this as a curse and those who are only living in the mind and in their head are afraid of being sensitive.
In this world of machinery there are unfortunately many people who are just fixed in their mind and live like programmed. They get less and less feelings and sensitivity. I am trying to encourage people to be more in their feelings and their heart to increase their sensitivity. It is not a curse, it is a great quality.
My friend Ann from Ireland has birthday today and she celebrated it here by sponsoring the food for the children.

I agree with Sugar (above comment). Sensitivity must be a balanced trait within us. We cannot afford to be too hard or too soft. Some people are naturally more or less sensitive. Once we understand ourselves and our own tendencies toward sensitivity, we can help ourselves to balance it. If your sensitivity always brings you negative feelings, try to be less sensitive. If your sensitivity brings you positive emotions, enjoy it!

Sensitivity is not a curse, just like all things in needs to be taken in balance. Some people need to learn to be more sensitive and others need to learn not to let everything impact them in such a big way.

it is very true that sensitivity is neither recognized or apreciated in many people. a lot of the time being sensitive is an invitation to be hurt. My sister has told me before that her sensitivity was a curse, it kept her always feeling sad and confused about the outside world. Now that she is older and has gotten rid of much of the fear in her life, the sensitivity is more o f a gift because the fear isnt crippling her anymore.

You have to accept your anger. It is a natural feeling, created by god. It is a negative feeling, yes, but you are not bad if you feel angry. It is there and you need to live it!
SourceSwami means master or owner and I believe that I did not give any religion or guru the ownership of myself. I am my own master and owner and in this way I believe there is nothing wrong if I keep the ‘Swami’ in front of my name. And if you are free from any foreign master, I would not object if you did the same.
SourceAs a person who does not believe in superstition, one sometimes has a difficult time convincing others that their belief is nonsense. You can try and put up the most scientific arguments but a really superstitious person will still not believe you. Nevertheless I believe that superstitions, just like religious belief in general, is in decline.
