Special requirements.
Ask for any special requirements you
might have such as special food, equipment or assistance
with activities.
Location.
The Ashram is situated in the town of
Vrindavan and therefore has a lively atmosphere. Although
secluded and peaceful this is not the place for a silent
retreat. The life of the Ashram has a daily rhythm that
includes morning chanting by the students and the bustle of
preparing food, cleaning and family life. However, after 10
pm, the Ashram practices ‘maun’, not speaking until the
morning.
Dates.
The Ashram is available for groups all
year round except for September due to ceremonies. The most
pleasant time weather-wise is between October and March
inclusive. The Indian summer can be very hot with
temperatures occasionally above 40 C, which may suit some
courses. The Ashram has A/C in all rooms.
Wheelchairs.
The Ashram is suitable for those in a wheelchair with
marbled patio and walkway and ground floor accommodation.
