Course Contents:
You will receive comprehensive, practice-oriented
training in all aspects of Yoga: Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga,
JnanaYoga, Kundalini Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. In addition,
the teacher Training will cover important information
about business and legal aspects of being a Yoga
Teacher, as well as nutrition according to yogic
principles, health and Yoga Therapy. You will be
qualified to teach a variety of levels, classes on
special subjects, and you will have sound knowledge of
techniques for relaxation an stress-reduction,
meditation and the nature of the human body and mind.
The Teacher Training will also, on occasion, be further
enriched by first-hand experience of traditional Indian
ceremonies (Pooja…).
When your training is complete, you will be qualified
to teach Yoga in a professional and knowledgeable manner
as well as courses dealing specifically with meditation
and relaxation.
The teacher training will be held in German and English,
with an interpreter when necessary.
Schedule:
The two years course will consists of 716 teaching units
(each 45 minutes in length) spread over 65 days.

Location:
Weekends will take place in Cologne,4 meetings in
seminar houses in Germany, 1 meeting in the Ashram in
Vrindavan, North-India.
Prerequisites:
At least 1½
years of regular Yoga practice (an intermediate knowledge).
Familiarity with philosophy.
Qualification and assessment:
You will receive a certificate upon passing the
end of course exam in Autumn 2009. Additionally,
participants may be eligible to obtain a Masters degree
in Yogic Science from our Indian partner university in
Dehradun.
Course costs:
Non-students: € 4875
Students enrolled at the University of Cologne: € 3475
Additional costs: Flight to India (Delhi) plus Visa
currently about € 800
Board and lodging in Germany and India, approx.€ 50 per
night (35 nights)
Shared costs for renting teaching space in Cologne a single
payment of € 250
Transport to seminar houses and Ashram
(Delhi-Vrindavan-Delhi) approx. € 60
Shared costs of interpreter’s fee single payment of approx.
€ 170.
